Coverage varies by plan, and networks change often. To avoid surprises, call before your appointment and our team can verify your benefits, confirm whether a referral is required, and give you an idea of what to expect for copays or deductibles.

  • Troy office: (314) 834-1400 — 520 E Cherry St, Troy, MO 63379
  • Chesterfield office: (314) 334-1248 — 14377 Woodlake Dr, Suite #111, Chesterfield, MO 63017

Please bring your insurance card, a photo ID, and any referral paperwork your plan requires to your first appointment.

Self-Pay Patients & Cosmetic Services

Self-pay and cash-pay patients are always welcome, no insurance is required to be seen. Cosmetic treatments, such as wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, and laser skin rejuvenation, are generally not covered by insurance and are billed as self-pay services. Medical dermatology visits, including skin exams, mole evaluations, and skin cancer care, are typically billed to your insurance plan.

If you have questions about the cost of a specific treatment, see our pricing page or call our team, we’re happy to walk you through your options before you book.

Common questions

Insurance FAQs.

Do you accept Medicare?

Yes. We accept Medicare, Railroad Medicare, and many Medicare Advantage plans, including UnitedHealthcare, Anthem/Elevance, Aetna, and Centene/WellCare Medicare Advantage. If you’re unsure whether your specific plan is in network, call our office and we’ll verify it for you.

What if I don’t see my insurance plan listed?

Insurance plans and networks change frequently, so our list may not reflect the most recent updates. Call us at (314) 834-1400 and our team can check your specific plan and verify your benefits before your appointment.

Are cosmetic treatments covered by insurance?

Cosmetic treatments are generally not covered by insurance and are billed as self-pay services. Medically necessary care, such as skin cancer treatment, Mohs surgery, and evaluation of suspicious moles, is typically billed to your plan. Coverage depends on your individual plan, so we recommend verifying benefits before treatment.

Can I be seen without insurance?

Yes. Self-pay and cash-pay patients are welcome for both medical and cosmetic visits. Call our office and we can discuss costs for the visit or treatment you’re considering.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring your insurance card, a photo ID, a list of current medications, and any referral paperwork your plan requires. Arriving a few minutes early to complete paperwork also helps your visit run smoothly.
